Clinics are for all levels of handlers and dogs, regardless of breed.  Clinics are structured around each individuals needs.  We can help you train your dog for farm work and/or trials.  Clinics are 9 am until 1 pm Sat. and Sun. Please bring a lawn chair and a kennel/leash for your dog.  Be prepared for wet weather. Fees are $30.00 per day or $50.00 for both days.  There is an additional $10.00 fee for each additional dog. For spectators, the fee is $10 or $15 for both days. This includes people with dogs not old enough for herding training. You do not have to pre-register to come to our clinics. At each clinic, we divide up into three groups,  beginners, intermediate, and advanced.  We have an instructor for each group, Jon Tholkes, Carol Anne Bailey Tholkes, and Hubert Bailey. The beginner group will be in a small area with very gentle sheep. The intermediate group will be in a larger field, and the advanced in a big field with a variety of stock to choose from. We occasionally have cattle to work also.  We rotate, giving everyone a chance to work their dog. We will be glad to help with any problems you and your dog may have.  Everyone is encouraged to watch all of the groups.
